How do I know what the weather will be like during a future trip, when planning well ahead of time?

The two widgets below will show you different types of weather-related data for any point in the globe. What's better, they will give you on-click, up-to-date information for your city or area of destination, including:
Average monthly and daily temperatures (first map has temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, the second in Celsius)
Average monthly and daily rainfall (in mm)
Average monthly and daily hours of sunshine
Also, the maps show a list of activities to do at, or near, your area of destination.
To start out:
Use the plus + sign on the upper left corner of the map to zoom in. As you zoom in, borderlands, states, provinces and cities will start to be visible.
Drag the map to the region you are traveling to.
Choose "month overlay" to get an idea of how the weather will be, on average, for your dates of travel.
You can click on your particular city or destination to view specific information: temperature, rainfall, hours of sunshine, and activities in or around your destination. This info will appear on different tabs right inside the map.
You can click on the X on the upper right corner to close the tabs, return to the map and view other destinations.
